Meet Jake

Jake started playing guitar aged seven after being given an electric guitar for his birthday, although his obsession began at two when he first laid eyes on a Les Paul! Age 12, Jake made his stage debut in 2016, and completed a year-long contract, as ‘Zack’ in London’s West End production School of Rock the Musical.

He then went on to join the band Chapter 13, with other talented ‘School of Rock’ musicians and across four years recorded songs for Tom Fletcher’s book ‘The Creakers’, as well winning a Golden Buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent. They wrote and recorded their own compositions, performed headline shows around the UK, and supported McFly on their comeback show at London’s 02 Arena in November 2019.

Now, in between teaching privately, Jake is a working session musician, playing and recording with international bands and building his professional repertoire, while also writing for his new band (to be announced soon).

Jake has a natural talent and plays predominantly by ear with much feeling and expression. He has a real affinity to rock music but loves playing music from all eras and genres. His undying passion continues to grow (along with his collection of guitars).
