Meet Marc, MD MusicLab founder and Drum Tutor

Ever since he was 12 years old, back in 1996, Marc remembers sitting behind a drum kit for the first time and at that moment he knew exactly what career he wanted to pursue and he has never looked back. For Marc, drumming isn’t and has never ever been just a hobby, it’s been a passion and he loves to share that passion through his students.

Marc ‘s career began as a successful musician. He started out in original’s band, Fat Stanley / Park Race, touring around America. Shortly after, in 2006, he joined 90’s pop band Let Loose as their drummer. Marc was also part of a function band, The Deps, playing at big name corporate events and weddings.

Marc likes to multi-task and, in amongst teaching, he managed to support Mike and the Mechanics and Wet Wet Wet with Ben McKelvey on their UK arena tours.

Marc offers drum tuition both privately and within schools and teach to all ages and music tastes – so maybe you just want to learn your favourite Rock tune or maybe Hip Hop’s your thing? Whatever your music preference, he will teach you. You may want to learn something more serious with the aim of working towards grades – Marc will get you there!

Drumming isn’t about being noisy and hitting hard, it involves what I describe as the “three ation’s”… concentration, co-ordination and dedication, teamed with lots of fun thrown in for good measure.”
