MEET Belinda

Belinda Lee (people call her Belle!)  is a vocalist, musician, performer, composer, tutor and musical director. Belinda was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and has over 20 years experience in performing and teaching music having started at a very young age. Belinda took to singing early on in her childhood and has been taught by a number of amazing tutors as she was growing up. They helped nurture her passion for music from a young age and gave her the confidence to take part in a number of concerts, contests and events ranging from local eisteddfods and talent quests, to the Sydney 2000 Olympics when she was 10 years old, featuring in the opening and closing ceremonies choir.

Belinda has now been teaching vocals and piano for 14 years, having run her own business ‘Belle Music Studios’ in Sydney, Australia, she has kept herself busy as a session musician for singing and playing piano for various bands, gigs and events. Most notably, she’s had the privilege of performing with artists James Morrison, Emma Pask and Barbara Morrison to name a few. In 2015 Belinda composed, recorded and released a debut EP “Arusha” which is available on Spotify and many other online platforms.

Belinda love’s musical theatre, and has been active within the Sydney musical theatre scene as a singer, performer, musical director and director in a number of productions. In particular she’s taken part in:

Belinda also studied music at a number of different levels, her qualifications include:
– Double Degree in Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Music) and Master of Nursing at University of Sydney
– 1 year (part-time) Foundation Course in Musical Theatre with the International College of Music Theatre in London
– Professional Performers Diploma and Associate Diploma in Modern Singing
– Graduate of the Talent Development Project and featured artist in Schools Spectacular in NSW for 4 years.

Currently Belinda is living in the UK to travel Europe but whilst she is here she is also performing across England and working as a Nurse within the NHS. Belinda is available as a session musician, tutor, performer and musical director/director in the South East area of England, currently based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
